Robotics Production Manager

Job Description

As a Production Manager, you are responsible for the daily operational activities of the stow Robotics production site.

Your tasks:

  • You lead and coach a team of Assembly Shift Supervisors.
  • You work with the Supply Chain Manager daily to make the production planning in the short and long term.
  • You try to optimize the workload of the Assembly Technicians in order to improve the output of each shift.
  • You have a flexible way of working to deal with shortages in production and to quickly remake the planning.
  • You make relevant reports concerning the production status versus the planned production.
  • You determine the staffing needs based on the production prognosis or the need for additional shifts.
  • You promote an active and safe work environment and present incidents and their solutions.
  • You use an ERP system for the follow-up of production and for reporting on production speeds and product quality. 

Qualifications

  • You have an Engineering degree with a specialization in Production.
  • You have 5 years of experience as a Production Manager or similar. Candidates with experience as Production Engineers and strong people skills are also relevant for this position.
  • Production experience should be inside a manual assembly environment of high-tech products.
  • You have competencies concerning mechanical and electrical activities and are capable of training a team.
  • You are capable in leading a multifunctional team.
  • You have good leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • You are flexible and have a solution focused mindset.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • You can communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French.
  • You can work autonomously.

Please note that we are currently located in Spiere-Helkijn and that we will move to our new HQ in Lokeren in February 2023.
You are willing to temporary travel to our HQ in Spiere-Helkijn till the move has finished.
