The PMO Manager is responsible “from A to Z” for managing, organizing, and supervising a wide spectrum of national projects in accordance with the company’s methodology.
Responsibilities
- Leads an internal team of project managers and site managers.,
- Monitors the budgets and deadlines.
- Optimizes the processes, considering expected future growth.
- Ensures strong communication with the Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Production Departments and with the Project Managers.
- Helps proactively to prevent problems if and where necessary
- Is the Ambassador of the company for all stakeholders.
- Initiates and Attends kick-off meetings, technical and site meetings, commercial meetings, and planning meetings, as well as site inspections with the client or with internal departments if needed.
- Is responsible for contract administration requirements, and deliverables.
Financial follow up & administration
- Ensures that all related project information and documentation is properly stored and archived.
- Gathers and controls all available data to draft weekly progress reports for ongoing projects and initiates the invoicing.
- Foresees project risks and project uncertainties and develops improvement actions where necessary.
- Looks for commercial opportunities, additional billable services, or other ways to improve the financial revenue of the assigned projects.
- Claim management identifies and drafts contract variations, and/or delay notifications, verifies costs based on the existing agreements.
- Responsible to initiate purchase orders, to check and approve all incoming project related invoices (incl. those for contract variations), ensures the recharges are correct.
