In this international role you will manage the “(SPS) = stow Performance System-approach” (a managerial approach centered on all employees who are trained, trusted, empowered and supported to continuously improve performance, by making process more reliable and leaner) mainly in the manufacturing of stow Group. You will have tactical responsibility for training and coaching on this approach and ensuring that the results are captured, that the changes are owned by the plants, and that the changes are sustained. You will also lead knowledge transfer to all participants, across the stow plants. Your main tasks:
- Work with production teams on the shop floor to execute improvement projects (production teams are working in shifts, incl: night and weekend)
- Follow up on KPIs and measure progress vs the objectives
- Develop a Stow Performance System (SPS) standardizing and sustaining all tools, procedures, management systems, etc… resulting from improvement projects
- Provide training to manufacturing engineers, supervisors and operators, etc (approach is train the trainer)
- Acting as coach for manufacturing engineers, supervisors and operators, etc…
- Challenge the status quo where appropriate
- Share (and seek) ideas across boundaries from observations on the floor and rigorous data analysis
- Lead transversal communities on (SPS)
- Organize internal and external benchmark visits
