Structural Engineer R&D
The Structural Engineer supports the mechanical designers (R&D engineers) and CAD designers R&D with calculations during the development of new products or components. He is also the basis of certain calculation algorithms and maintains the databases of the used calculation software.

Tasks & Responsibilities
You analyze existing solutions
You check the potential of optimizing material thicknesses or steel grades, determine and improve critical components
You support and cooperate in the development of new products or components
You work closely together with the mechanical designer (R&D engineer) and CAD designer R&D
You calculate the stability of components and assembly on the basis of Eurocode and specific EN codes
You define which tests must be carried out, if necessary
Profile
You have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equal by experience
You have experience with Project Management
You are fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
You can work with AutoCAD, Rstab, SCIA, SAP 2000 and Office365
You are a teamplayer and dynamic
You take initiative and you work in a structured and precise way
You are creative and come up with innovative solutions
