
Operational Buyer
We are looking for an Operational Buyer to join our growing purchasing team at stow. As Operational Buyer you will work with people across our organization committed to bring growth to stow, solve issues and actively look for opportunities to improve.
What do we expect from you?
Tasks & Responsibilities
Follow up stock levels of raw materials and material requirements for production, and call off materials in time
Order traded goods in line with category strategies, supplier selection and pricing outlined centrally
Pull forward or push back purchase orders when planning is revised
Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and follow up delivery of orders according to requested delivery date
Manage daily relationship between the factory and its suppliers
Provide input on supplier performance (delivery, quality, …) to central category managers for regular supplier evaluation
Solve potential invoice blocks due to quantity or price discrepancies
Profile
3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management
Fluent French & English
Figures/data driven
Ability to act in a fast-moving environment
Strong will to contribute to process improvement
Excel: Intermediate / Expert level
IT Expertise: ERP & Business Intelligence Tools. SAP experience is a big plus
APICS & Lean 6 Sigma certifications is a plus
