Mechanical Designer (R&D Engineer)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the optimization of the current products and the creation of new products where the trigger comes from product engineer or sales

• You cooperate with different departments such as purchase/production, but also product engineering and project engineering with the goal to have a clear picture of what the demands and possibilities are

• You approach the project in a coordinated way with strong planning. This starts from design --> control --> prototype --> testing --> implementation. So, that the predetermined planning can be respected

• You define the necessary tests together with structural engineer and proto-shop engineer

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Engineering – Electromechanics/Construction Engineering/ Industrial Design/…. or equal by experience

• You have experience with Project Management

• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French

• You can work with AutoCAD, Inventor and Office365

• You are a teamplayer and dynamic

• You take initiative and you work in a structured and precise way

• You are creative and come up with innovative solutions
