Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled frontend developer to join our R&D development team in Belgium 

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using React 

You will be working on a variety of projects, including building scalable web applications, enhancing existing features, and implementing new functionality. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and implement new software features for the offboard software suite. 
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using ReactJS 
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use. 
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance. 
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards. 
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trend

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development 
  • Strong and proven proficiency in React and javascript
  • Experience with software development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, Azure DevOps, Miro, Sketch, Figma,… 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience to apply Agile methodologies in a pragmatic, result driven way 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Ability to define and adhere to deadlines 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Experience with Atomic Design is a plus 
  • Experience in .NET (C#) is a plus 
  • Experience with cloud computing (Azure or AWS) is a plus 
  • Experience as a public speaker (user groups, conferences) or internal trainer is a plus 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English 
  • You are sociable, eager to learn, driven and cheerful
