Job Description

The rapid evolution of the group, both geographically as product-wise, results on the one hand in a growing challenge and need for accurate analysis and reporting and the further roll out of corporate oversight on the other. Based in the HQ in Dottenijs, we are looking for a Corporate Controller to strengthen the FP&A and consolidation team. In this role, we are looking for a motivated and communicative finance person who is committed to get the job done.

The ideal candidate can easily switch between different tasks, going from an in-depth analysis of results, over the impact on consolidated outlook, to strategic role-out of a robust corporate oversight environment. Are you the ideal candidate we are looking for?

Your tasks:

  • Monitor monthly reporting, both from a completeness perspective as on the consistency of the story behind the figures.
  • Qualitative analysis of reporting packs from the group entities, in which you challenge the local finance responsible to ensure smooth management review and flag attention points upfront.
  • Be a key player in the monthly and quarterly preparation and validation of the consolidated results, including cross departmental checks and validations.
  • When ad hoc questions come up, deep dive into the details and compile a comprehensive executive summary.
  • Be a driver for further roll-out of corporate oversight. Including identifying potential improvement areas, formulating adequate responses as well as support the local finance teams in the out roll of procedures.

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 4-5 years’ relevant finance experience (Big4 environment is a plus).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both verbal and written. French is highly appreciated.
  • Have the drive to timely deliver a qualitative end result.
  • Experience within international groups (including knowledge of IFRS).
  • Experience with internal controls (SOX compliance experience is a plus).
  • Experience with financial tools. COGNOS and SAP are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a helicopter view.
  • Good communication skills.

The ideal candidate needs to be thorough, proactive, have the ability to work under deadlines and be a team player.
